Jumping to and fro between the Denon AH-D2000, and the Roland RH-300, the HD600 rivals the RH-300 in terms of clarity. While the RH-300 gives clarity in a closed back setup, the HD600 provides that in an open back, while adding more soundstage. Also, I have to thank youtuber DankPods and his videos where he has got me convinced in getting the Hurr Durr Six Hungeos. Yes, that's kind of a meme for the HD600 on his channel.
This is my second HD600. Still sounds as good as when I first listened to it more than a decade ago. In fact, its debut was over 20 years ago! And it is still being sold till this day. Why? Because it is damn good. That midrange has yet to be beaten by any other headphones. Like I said. A Legend!
