Sennheiser has built a strong reputation in the premium soundbar market with their Ambeo lineup since launching in 2019. Last year, the Ambeo Soundbar Plus set a high standard for the company, giving other established companies a run for their money. This raises the bar for Sennheiser's new Ambeo Soundbar Mini, the company's most compact product to date.

Measuring only 6 cm tall and 67 cm wide, the Mini is able to produce an impressively wide and immersive soundstage. An advanced room calibration feature maps out your space to optimise Dolby Atmos and other object-based audio formats for a surround experience that feels much bigger than the soundbar itself. The Ambeo Soundbar Mini has a sleek matte black design made of plastic materials. Its shape is rectangular and slim, allowing it to fit discreetly below most TV sizes. On the front is a subtle LED light bar, while the top and sides remain bare with no visible drivers.

In terms of audio quality, the Ambeo Soundbar Mini is able to produce a wide and immersive soundstage that feels much bigger than its actual size. I felt completely transported into the scenes. Its room calibration feature accurately maps out your space to optimise surround effects. While the bass can feel lacking at very low frequencies, when you switch it up, it gets plenty loud and punchy. The soundbar also does a great job of keeping dialogue clear.
